Senior Shop and Ride Share believes community involvement and volunteer support play an important role in helping seniors remain safe, connected, independent, and supported throughout our communities. 


As transportation needs continue to grow, volunteers may help support future transportation efforts through:

• Senior wellness check-ins
• Event and program support
• Administrative and scheduling assistance
• Community partnership and awareness efforts 


Many seniors throughout Muskegon County face transportation barriers due to:

• Fixed incomes
• Lack of family transportation support
• Social isolation
• Limited FREE and affordable transportation options 


Volunteers can help make a meaningful difference by supporting efforts focused on improving transportation access, independence, and quality of life for seniors and vulnerable residents throughout the community.
