Senior Shop and Ride Share is a developing community transportation support initiative committed to helping seniors access safe, dependable, FREE, and affordable transportation support throughout Muskegon County and surrounding communities.
As transportation challenges continue to grow, community support plays an important role in helping expand transportation access for seniors facing barriers related to:
• Medical care access
• Grocery and pharmacy transportation
• Mobility limitations
• Fixed incomes
• Social isolation
• Limited transportation options
Support from individuals, businesses, organizations, and community partners can help strengthen future efforts focused on:
• Transportation assistance
• Volunteer support programs
• Community outreach
• Transportation accessibility improvements
• Senior independence and wellness initiatives
